July’s Appreciation Post
Thank you to my customers who kept me busy working on photos in July! I appreciate your purchases. I also plan to keep updating my photo collections and learning new techniques this year. It felt great selling a couple of my newer prints, Ogden Point Pier Sunset and Sunrise at James Bay. They were shipped to Sherwood Park, Alberta. I took both of the photos this past year while visiting our daughter in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia.
I also had fun working on some of my older black-and-white New Orleans Cafe du Monde night photos. One was an 11”x14” photo print shipped to Leawood, Kansas. The other two were digital downloads: vertical and horizontal pictures ordered from New Orleans and Island, Kentucky.
Other print orders included a colour Indy 500 photo print shipped to Indianapolis and a black-and-white Centennial Beach photo print shipped to Delta, BC.
I’m looking forward to August! Enjoy your summer, everyone. :)
Coastal Landscapes
Wishing all of you a pleasant summer! Coastal landscapes continue to be a source of inspiration for me. This week’s orders included a black-and-white vertical photo print of a photo I took a few years ago at Centennial Beach in Delta, BC. I took a few photos during this early morning walk. Many shorebirds, such as plovers, were at the beach before the sun came up.
Qualicum Beach Visitors’ Centre Display
Thank you to the Qualicum Beach Visitor Centre on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia, for reaching out to print, frame, and display my photo. I appreciate the opportunity! The visitor’s centre is located at Qualicum Beach, and has great information about the area.
From Qualicum Beach Visitor Centre:
There’s nothing quite like a Qualicum Beach morning! A huge thank you to talented local photographer Monika Hamilton for letting us feature her gorgeous piece, "Qualicum Beach Sunrise," right here in the Visitor Centre. Drop in today to see it for yourself!

Victoria Urban Night Scene Print Set
Thank you to BYU (Bob's Your Uncle) Design for ordering this set of 24" x 32" Victoria Night Scenes prints! The prints shipped to Vancouver last week. The set includes photos I took last December of the cool signs at Bird Cage Confectionary, Courtyard Shops, and Frankie's Modern Diner. This set also comes in black and white, although I feel the red gives an extra pop of colour. I love taking pictures of urban nightscapes!
Wishing you all a good weekend!

Shop Updates
Wishing all of you a lovely spring!
Black-and-white photos have been popular lately! The last two weeks have been busy for photo orders. Three Vancouver urban night photos are on their way to Rochester, New York, this week. And thank you to Ellen from Illinois, who purchased a printable black-and-white version of my Cannon Beach Haystack Rock photo! The picture reminds her of a special time during a previous trip to Cannon Beach, Oregon. I was also happy to contribute photo raffle prizes to the BCNU Convention this year. A photo print of the White Rock Pier is on its way to Surrey, BC, this week.
Busy times!
